How do you manage your projects
Project management is a challenging activity that has to do with four constant variables: spending, schedule, time and producing a satisfactory result. A bit more challenging objective is to optimize business organization and resource allocation. Look at your project and you will observe that it needs people, finance and equipment to give needed results. To manage projects effectively you need to deal with several things. A few of them can be found in the next paragraph:
- Establishing objectives and conducting analysis.
- Managing risk. Most have a this or that level of risk.
- Allocating and supervising resources.
- Defining the outcomes of the project.
- Managing the project in terms of who is doing what and when.
- Ensuring that the products of the tasks are up to standard.
- Handling instability. Everything changes. Most projects develop in time, so the element of change should be accounted for.
- Communicating with project stakeholders.
